Each spring individuals from Dodge City and surrounding communities try their hand at becoming a World Famous Boot Hill Gunfighter. 

A Season's End

A Season's End is the last gunfight of the year for the 2015 season, traditionally held at 12:00 noon on Labor Day. The video provides scenes from the gunfight along with gunfighter interviews. 

Tradition Continues

All of the Gunfighters are required to go through safety training including loading and drawing a firearm. Most gunfighters have some athletic abilities, can follow directions and pay attention to safety details.
